Natural Ventilation lends itself to be controlled in many ways, either as stand alone units or multiple units in a given area. Packages can be supplied for all needs, from manually operated stand-alone units through to fully integrated controls linked into a Building Management System (BMS).

Stand-Alone Manual Systems

The occupants of the room would be able to select the Naturalvent unit to be either OPEN or CLOSED by the operation of a switch (2 position damper motors).

Alternatively the Naturalvent unit could be opened or closed by a specific percentage by rotating a positioning knob on the wall- mounted local control unit (proportional damper motor) so giving a variable ventilation rate at the dictates of the occupants.

The Naturalvent unit would be supplied with its damper motors mounted and pre-wired back to the control box. This box, mounted adjacent to the damper motor, will house a fused power supply for the operation of the system. The control box will require a 5amp switched fused spur adjacent to it (supplied by others).

Stand-Alone Automatic Systems

The Naturalvent system is able to operate and control the amount of air flowing through the room. A controller and its room sensor will monitor the room temperature, which will automatically operate the ventilation modulating dampers, to keep the room conditions at the pre-designated comfort level. Many variations to this option are available, including one or more of the following (see opposite page). This gives Naturalvent the ability to be able to proportionally control the ventilation rate for all applications such as shower rooms (RH), lecture theatres (CO2), etc.

This box, mounted adjacent to the damper motor, will house a fused power supply and control modules for the operation of the system.
