Sutton New Road Birmingham Council Offices Naturalvents cross ventilation system has been chosen for Birmingham Council’s first ‘ Green Building’.
Working closely with the builder and architect a zoned cross ventilation Natural Ventilation Scheme incorporating BSRIA weather tested louvre, attenuators and motorised insulated and thermally broken damper are concealed in a clever bulkhead to provide an ascetically pleasing Natural Ventilation system with BMS control and zone override.
This is combined with Solar Shading and motorised blinds to provide the maximum saving of running costs and versatility.
Naturalvent have recently completed Wolverhampton University Campus Atrium Natural Ventilation Scheme with a one hundred metre band of high level highly insulated and thermally broken attenuated louvres.
These louvres exhaust, via the stack effect of this 15 metre high building, the stale warm air built up in the atrium complimented by our secure low level inlet system.
TEK Limited Naturalvent range has recently been installed at Lincolnshire Showground in the Epic Centre, which is a low carbon demonstration centre.
It is designed to showcase technologies that will help cut global warming and carbon emissions.
TEK Limited fitted both active and passive roof units to the “Living Roof” these are used in conjunction with motorised wall units to provide Natural Ventilation to this flagship building.
This project was originally designed using our ‘in-house’ thermal modelling.
